What does a Professional Development Partnership look like?

Code/Interactive is a nonprofit that partners with schools and districts to build and scale inclusive computer science programs. Read below about some of our work with professional development partners.

Computer Science for 1.1 Million Students

The New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE) is the largest school district in the country, with 1.1. million students and over 1800 schools. With a public-private partnership, they started a 10-year, $81 million initiative called CS4NYC that intends to bring a “meaningful unit” of computer science to all 1.1 million students for each identified grade band.
